Come and eat with us

Come Dine With Us

Our pub is spot-on for any dining occasion; from a hearty Full English or lighter brunch-y dish in the morn, to a delicious lunch by the fire, succulent meats on our Sunday roast dishes, and every belt-loosening bite in-between.

Eating seasonally is important to us, and our chefs are changing our menus as often as the weather (that is to say, very frequently) so that you’re always sure to be enjoying ingredients that are at their best right now.

Best Christmas Foods

Crisp roast potatoes, sweet-and-salty pigs in blankets, and all that wonderful winter veg -December brings us a whole month of our favourite festive foods.

Feast your eyes on our button-popping Christmas Feast and Christmas Day menus.

Two Courses for £18

Our January Set Menu (coming soon!) is a celebration of mid-winter seasonality, showcasing some of our favourite winter produce from across the UK. Featuring West Country Beef, Bedlam Farm Heritage squash, Lincolnshire Brussel Tops and South Coast mussels (to name a few!) it’s available on weekdays until 31st Jan. With two courses for £18 or three courses for £22 (go on… treat yourself to a pud) you shouldn’t need further excuse to get yourself to the pub.

Breakfast of Champions

You don’t have to be staying with us to enjoy our delicious, seasonal breakfast menu. We’re serving up something for everyone, be that the majestic Crab Royale and a breakfast cocktail (or two), or a delectable French Toast with lashings of maple syrup.

After all, it is the most important meal of the day (we think our Mums were right about this one).

What Sundays are Made Of

There’s no better way to end the week than at your favourite local pub (that’s us, by the way) sitting near the cosy fire with a large glass of red (very large) in hand, tucking into a hearty Sunday roast.

Our chefs put their heart and souls into our roasts with meat joints roasted to perfection, piles of crispy roasties, giant Yorkshires and gravy by the boatful.

So go get your Sunday paper, ask Landlord Simon for your favourite pint and finish off the week the most wonderful way.
